Nonprofit group Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services wanted to develop a new logo and visual identity in order to improve their brand recognition. Board felt existing logo was drab in color and design. Organization had interest in selling branded merchandise to raise money and increase visible profile, and desired a more attractive logo to help encourage sales.
